One-way car rental in Greece
One-way rentals between mainland SIXT locations is allowed with certain tariffs. A fee may apply. It is not allowed to do one-way rentals between the Greek islands or to surrounding countries.
Borders
Cross-border rentals are not allowed. You can take your rental on a ferry between the Greek islands, but you lose all vehicle protections on the ferry. Ask when picking up your vehicle for other protection options.
Car rental under 25 in Greece
The minimum age for car rental in Greece is 21. Renters under 23 will be charged an underage driver fee. Some rental car categories have a higher minimum age up to 28.

Great service.
Make sure to inform them upfront if you need to use your phone for navigation. Some of the cars they have are not new and lacking a modern infotainment system.

The experience at Sixt was excellent: the employees were courteous and professional; The vehicle was of a high standard (Audi 3), suitable for mountain driving as I requested.
On the way back we had a flat tire and were worried about missing the flight: the care of the staff at the branch and the activation of roadside assistance were impeccable and allowed us to get to the flight on time. All the best and thanks to the professional and lovely staff members.

I really do think that Sixt are the best rental company. We have never had any issues with them, and their cars are alway great. Good prices, helpful and friendly staff - they can't be faulted! Kalamata was no exception: both pick up and drop off were quick, clear and organised and the staff were lovely.
