The whole experience from picking up the rental car to dropping it back at Dunedin airport was so easy. The car was clean and easy to drive. For our first experience renting a car it was 5 stars.

Booked a Toyota Corolla but was offered a free upgrade to either a VW Tiguan or a Polstar 2. We took the electric option, which was a fabulous way to try out an electric car we’d never be able to buy. It had a range of over 400 miles which was plenty for a weekend in Dunedin. No having to fill up with petrol before we dropped the car back either! Great customer service too - the customer service rep was able to explain the tech side of things to a couple of boomers 😊

I got a good deal on a car hire from Sixt, if it wasn't the for the good deal I would have busing around the lower south.
